Voice Booth is a private, local-first event guestbook for voice messages and up to six optional photos with each message.
Open the Host Monthly purchase screen and tap Restore Purchases. You must use the same Apple Account that started the subscription or made the original Host Lifetime purchase and be connected to the internet. Manage or cancel a subscription in Apple Account subscription settings. Purchases are processed by Apple.
On the host device, export an event through the app’s export option. The export includes original M4A audio, optional JPEG photos, CSV metadata, and a SHA-256 manifest. Keep a copy in a location you control.
Open an Event, find Keep & manage, and choose Export Memory Movie. Voice Booth creates a local 16:9, 1080p MOV from the Event’s voice messages and attached photos. Keep the app in the foreground while it is generating. If the export is cancelled or fails, check available storage and try again. The original messages are not changed.
When a signed-in Host with an active Host Monthly subscription enables a Web Guest QR session, guests can record in a supported browser and optionally add photos or a selfie. Each QR is a short-lived session of up to 24 hours and remains available until its own expiry or Host revocation. The Host can revoke the QR URL at any time while keeping the Event live, and the QR page is also revoked when the Event stops. The app safely imports and acknowledges received media before replacing or stopping a session; Hosts can also use manual sync before the 24-hour secure holding period ends.
Hosts can delete individual messages or events from within the app. A signed-in Host can also permanently delete their service account in Settings after active guest access is safely closed. Account deletion removes the service identity, sessions, guest links, credentials, and server metadata; recordings and photos already saved locally remain on the device until the Host deletes them. Deleting the app removes its local data unless it was exported or backed up elsewhere.
Read the Voice Booth Privacy Policy for details about local storage, Web Guest processing, permissions, and deletion.
